Proud of the team today,
Difficult conditions underfoot and a physically strong Blackburn team made for a morning of hard work.
The boys really stuck to their task especially in defense and were not intimidated by some of the big away players.
Some great teamwork throughout with two on one tackles and lots of boys running strong straight lines.
Some work on tackling lower, cutting inside away from touch and moving the ball from the tackle to work on.
We missed Matthew in defense especially after an early exit with a blow to and mud in his eye.
It was another step forward for some of the newer boys, and some more experience in the bank.
Player of the day awarded by Steve was to Ryan for some good tackles strong straight running and a couple of good tries.
Well done everyone!
See you Tuesday for a mud free session on the astro!
