Having been beaten by Kendal earlier in the season Fleetwood welcomed the team from Cumbria but on the back of a good run of results the team were prepared for the challenge.
The first period saw both sides keeping the ball in play and at a fast pace, Kendal defended well and both teams were evenly matched until Fly-Half Ajay Lord broke free to outpace the blind-side winger. Kendal quickly equalised, but with the scrum holding firm this gave scrum half Conor Rothery a good base to provide the backs with ball to run at the Kendal team, Captain Alex Ogden crossed the line from centre before strong running lock Ben Stubbs added a third. Kendal once more pegged a score back but despite Fleetwood making several changes in the 2nd period good performances from prop Aled Hughes and lock Dylan Jones allowed further tries from to be added from Tyler McGawley and James Amor.
Danny Walderman coped well in a new position at scrum half as did Daniel Ashworth at centre.
Fleetwood finished their scoring with a excellent passage of back play for Ryan Hargreaves to add 5 from the right wing and Mitchel Peace to crash over from number 8. Ajay Lord converted 5 and Taei Parker another to finish 47-12 victors.
Fleetwood will hope to continue with this form into their cup semi final in two weeks against Tarleton.
