After meeting the players, putting them through their paces in pre-season and consultation with the coaching staff, it gives us great pleasure to announce the senior rugby leadership team for the forthcoming 2022 - 2023 season.

Rob Meekin and Mike Kelly will be joint Vice-Captains. Both bring a huge amount of experience to the squad and are respected figures about the club. Leadership is defined by more than spoken words and the pair of them are amongst the first to step forwards with their actions.

Tom Evans will be Captain this year. Tom has led the way in pre-season in terms of work ethic, performance and attitude. Tom clearly commands a great level of respect from his team mates and although this can be pinned to his physical talents, his desire to improve, humility and personality make him the obvious choice as the man to lead our team both on and off the pitch.

It is also important for the rest of the club to see another one of its own take up the Captaincy as Tom started at Fleetwood U7's and made his senior debut 10 years later.
