Hard fought win for u15 boys

Fleetwood under 15 boys improved recent form with a close fought victory over Rossendale.

Hard work in training finally paid dividends with a place in the Lancashire Junior Rugby quarter finals draw.

The home side ran out 24-15 winners thanks to tries from Michael Pangburn, Ollie Haddow and Luca Carpenito. Daniel Holding put in a tough performance and was named man of the match.

Ben Thomas recently returned to the side following a broken hand suffered playing against local rivals Fylde in December.

“It was a good cup win and team performance. We had to play hard to score the tries and our work in training finally paid-off after a handful of losses. The hand is a bit stiff but it’s good to be back playing again.”
