Fleetwood u 10 v Blackburn

Fleetwood under 10 versus Blackburn.
Blackburn made the short trip to Melbourne  avenue in the return match from earlier in the season. The previous encounter was an extremely evenly matched event with honours shared. Both teams turned out in the cold conditions and began to play where they left off.

Both Blackbur4n and Fleetwood showed off their skills with some exciting and expansive rugby despite the conditions. The teams squared up over four ten minute matches.

Fleetwood seemed to have the upper hand compared to Blackburn with the entire team putting in a fantastic performance. Both teams showed that compared to the last encounter the quality of rugby has steadily improved and this was particularly noticable in performance of the Fleetwood team.

Whilst the score probably ended up in Fleetwood favour in the end it wasn't important. What was important was the style  manner and all round ability of the teams on show. Every one involved should be proud of their performance on the pitch today to such an extent that selecting anyone for the coaches player of the week proved impossible and it was agreed to share it amongst the entire squad. That being said Charlie Allonby's performance should not go without mention. Today he was ever present across the pitch and scored an excellent solo effort try which saw him break several tackles before  running three quarters of the length of the pitch to score.
