Fleetwood RUFC are looking to appoint a club physiotherapist / sports therapist / sports rehabilitator. The role will combine clinical sessions once a week and match day cover for the 1st team on a Saturday.

Duties of the job:
- Clinical sessions – injury assessments and treatments, sports specific rehabilitation, return to play assessments.
- Match days – pre-game preparation, including massage and taping, pitch side first aid cover, management of acute injuries.
Key Skills:
1. Qualified to degree level in relevant discipline.
2. Sports first aid certificate or sports trauma qualification essential.
3. Insurance and memberships in place.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Reliability (Must be able to commit for whole 2022/23 season).
6. Flexibility (Ability to be available at short notice or for fixtures to change).
7. Previous experience of working in Rugby is desirable but not essential.
The appointed person will have access to good facilities including a newly refurbished gym, a treatment room, and all medical supplies will be provided. The club has a full junior section, 2 senior sides and a ladies team who will all have access to injury assessment and treatments as required. The men’s first team plays in the Northern Division Counties 2 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire league and away games will require travel across the county. Match day travel is provided.

The successful applicant would also have use of a newly refurbished Physio room at the club to operate from on a private basis.
